I am organizing my school's annual car show and the teacher who used to organize it (she retired today and I was moving papers around) has an old SAAB convertible she wants to get rid of and she said if I want it she'd give it to me cheap. I'm going to wait and see if my grandparents help me buy a car (I kind of expect it -because of dropped hints, not because I think I'm an entitled douchenozzle). Otherwise I may be cruising around in a SAAB 'vert.

Just do me a favor and drop the tri-spoke wheels. Don't know why car makers thought that was ok in the 90's (and probably 2000's)

I was actually looking at a good quality low KM one today. $7999 CDN from a decent used Saab dealer in my area.
Can't go wrong if its in good order.

I wouldn't mind one of these at all, the only caveat is hers is an automatic. But for a cheap car, I wouldn't be able to complain.

I think the 3 spoke wheels look ok on a SAAB, not else though. I'm too cheap to change rims on a 15 year old 'beaterish' car.

Fair enough, you could probably troll craigslist and come up with a half decent set of replacements for a couple hundred bucks if your not in a rush though.

I don't even know If I'll buy it yet, but yeah, If I was gonna keep it long term I might do something about it. My school is in the ghetto though, and there isn't a guarantee being able to park in the student lot, so parking a soft top convertible on the street in the hood concerns me.
